10.6.6 280GTX no QE/CI everything else good

mobo Asus P5B- deluxe all good except GFX (nvidia 280GTX) no HD on VLC and issues on flash sites on chrome and safari (fixed permissions) defo no QE/CI have full resolution though 2560x1600 on 30" Dell

What can I try enablers dont work and I have tried Tony's Nvidia update too?

Im a newbie so be patient please

any help here would be great
