GA-H55M-USB3 F11 downgraded to F10
Intel Core i3 540 3.06G

Hitachi HD 1TB SATA 7200RPM 32M
No graphics card (using video from DVI on MB)
Hi Community:
I am trying to build a system with the excellent iBoot+Multibeast method this are my troubles any help is appreciated:
First Attempt:
(Using 1TB partition or using two 500MB partitions)
iBoot + OSX 10.6 DVD + 10.6.5 Combo + Multibeast - Install OK
iBootGE + OSX 10.6 DVD + 10.6.5 Combo + Multibeast - Install OK
Upon reboot, iBoot from HD kicks in then gray mac booting screen hang (little "sun-like" icon going round n round forever).
Using option -x -v, boots lots of things, then when darwin starts certain things boot up but then hangs on line:
disk1s1s2: iodl(_ior, "d", 79, 4) is unsopported.
Doing a reboot with iBootCD -x -v and Snow Leopard hangs too.
This happens too with these scenarios:
iBoot + OSX 10.6 DVD + 10.6.4 Combo + Multibeast - Install OK
iBoot + OSX 10.6 DVD + 10.6.3 Combo + Multibeast - Install OK
iBootGE + OSX 10.6 DVD + 10.6.4 Combo + Multibeast - Install OK
iBootGE + OSX 10.6 DVD + 10.6.3 Combo + Multibeast - Install OK
Second Attempt:
(Using 1TB partition or using two 500MB partitions)
iBoot + OSX 10.6 DVD + Multibeast - Install OK
iBootGE + OSX 10.6 DVD + Multibeast - Install OK
Upon reboot, iBoot from HD kicks in, very briefly screen with a progress bar at bottom appears followed by a total system restart (reboot loop).
Using option -x -v Wait=Yes boots lots of lines and stops before Darwin Start, pressing enter immediately restarts the hole CPU from start.
Upon reboot using iBootCD and selecting Snow Leopard, it boots without a problem. Here I can work with system ok (install things, copy, paste, use Multibeast, etc) but I can never make it boot from the HD. Even sound works ok!
In a nutshell, currently the only way for me to use the system is to make a fresh install using iBoot + OSX 10.6 DVD (or iBootGE) upon reboot using iBoot cd to login to Snow Leopard.
Any pointers greatly appreciated.
Regards!
Joe
