Return or Keep? (CPU and DVD Drive; Autosleep)

So, I have these 2 parts.
i3 530 and a LG DVD+/- RW Drive.

Should I keep these parts or should I return it for...
Sony Optiarc AD-7240S-0B or Pioneer DVR-218L
and for the CPU
i3 540.

The reason for the optical drive is auto-sleep. Although I need more research on what enables auto sleep and what doesn't. (I heard mixed with Optiarc drive, don't know about Pioneer though)

For the CPU, I'm swapping it because the iMac uses the i3 540.

Advice? Comments?

No need to swap the i3 unless you want a faster CPU.

My systems that have no auto-sleep issues are one with the Sony Optiarc AD-7240S and the other with a Sony Optiarc AD-7260S. The one that does, has a Samsung SH-S183L.

i returned it and got the Pioneer DVR-218L and i3 540.Only because I got a discount and basically spent $10 more getting both of the parts.

I also got a GTX 260 for now, if 10.6.5 rolls and 5770 is supported like nvidia cards, ill switch XD
