Can S L be installed on non-SATA HDDs? I've reading a lot of setting the BIOS to ACHI mode, my motherboard does not support SATA devices. Does this mean that I won't be able to install SL on my machine?

Thanks

Ajaxharg, Thanks! So, I just have to ignore the settings to change the ACHI options?

I've installed snowleopard on a couple of non-sata laptops and it wasn't an issue. It was a while ago and I can't remember if I had to prepare it on an external usb drive first. It was certainly achievable. I just did a quick google and they mention at this link http://www.taranfx.com/how-to-install-mac-os-x-snow-leopard-on-pc-dual-boot you need a kext to make it work. You probably need to add it too the iboot disk and also the /Extra/Extension on your install.
