My case is, in some cases (no pun intended lol), a pain. First, it's slightly small but I couldn't go for the Thermaltake MK-I, so this was my 2nd choice. Also, the front is EXTREMELY hard to open. Also, for some reason, the case doesn't have all the motherboard stand-offs for my Z77-DS3H, but it's still sturdy
The Hyper 212+ is annoying. At first I couldn't screw it in because some of the screws were way off, and the the screw wouldn't always meet the bolt. It took me a couple tries to get it on properly.
The one thing that just gets me mad is my display. My AOC 23" a good display, it really is, and I like the touch buttons it has. But of all things, it doesn't come with a DVI cable. This is my first fully built computer, but I've used many displays and all of them came with both a VGA and DVI cord. It only comes with a VGA. Now, that isn't bad, just an inconvenience, but my graphics card only has 2 DVI ports. My 2500k has integrated graphics, but the discrete graphics take over.
Installation Notes
I used the tonymacx86 UniBeast Method to install lion, and did normal things like install Lion, reboot, install MultiBeast, and reboot. Something out of the blue was I had to change my settings for my 1tb hard drive in terminal so that it was a bootable drive.
Just in case you have my situation where you have a hard drive 1tb or more that can't boot on its own, do this:
1) Use your UniBeast Drive to boot into your Lion Install
2) Go to Disk Utility, right click on the drive and unmount it
3) Go to Terminal and put in this command:
dd if=/Volumes/Name of Unibeast Drive not Lion Hard Drive/usr/standalone/i386 of=/dev/disk0s2
Multibeast
