This is my first time building hackintosh. I was inspired by a youtube video showing how simple to install MacOS on a PC. But it is not true. I face tons and tons of problem when installing the OS. It took me almost a week to have a fully installed hackintosh with all the problem fixed. I will share all my tricks here for everyone with the similar hardware.

The computer case is huge, which is good for high air flow. It has good cable management shown at the bottom of this post. all the cables are hidden behind the mobo which is the other compartment of the case. I replace all the default fans with corsair silent fan as shown below too. Although this is not an overclock cpu, i still brought h100i hydo cooler as heatsink air cooler oxidate and trap dust.
Overall this build is good and a little different from the conventional tower build cpu.

Installation Guide:
0) You need a working hackintosh or a mac to begin with.

1) Follow the tonymacx86 Yosemite installation guide to make a USB for installation.

2) As this is the early version of Haswell processor, you will encounter the boot loop problem to solve this , you need to patch your USB drive first.

Code:
[COLOR=#880000]# in Terminal, assuming your USB is called Installer[/COLOR]
cp [COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Volumes[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]USB[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]System[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Library[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Kernels[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR]kernel [COLOR=#666600]~[/COLOR][COLOR=#008800]/Desktop/[/COLOR]kernel_backup
cp [COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Volumes[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]USB[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]System[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Library[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Kernels[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR]kernel [COLOR=#666600]~[/COLOR][COLOR=#008800]/Desktop/[/COLOR]kernel
cd [COLOR=#666600]~/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Desktop[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#880000]# now patch the kernel at ~/Desktop/kernel[/COLOR]
perl [COLOR=#666600]-[/COLOR]pi [COLOR=#666600]-[/COLOR]e [COLOR=#008800]'s|\xe2\x00\x00\x00\x02\x00\x00\x00|\x00\x00\x00\x00\x02\x00\x00\x00|g'[/COLOR] kernel
perl [COLOR=#666600]-[/COLOR]pi [COLOR=#666600]-[/COLOR]e [COLOR=#008800]'s|\xe2\x00\x00\x00\x4c\x00\x00\x00|\x00\x00\x00\x00\x4c\x00\x00\x00|g'[/COLOR] kernel
perl [COLOR=#666600]-[/COLOR]pi [COLOR=#666600]-[/COLOR]e [COLOR=#008800]'s|\xe2\x00\x00\x00\x90\x01\x00\x00|\x00\x00\x00\x00\x90\x01\x00\x00|g'[/COLOR] kernel
[COLOR=#880000]# patched kernel is now at ~/Desktop/kernel[/COLOR]
sudo cp kernel [COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Volumes[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]USB[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]System[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Library[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Kernels[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR]kernel

3) Now plug in the USB to your computer that you want to install hackintosh.

4) First go into bios make sure the sata is set to AHCI and
disable vt-d

5) Boot into the USB and follow the installation guide here , you might need to boot with -x
GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1

6) Once the installation is done, boot into the drive which you install your MacOS, you will notice you get the boot looping problem again. So now you boot into the USB again. Go into the
OS X installer, and go into Terminal (using Utilities -> Terminal) and replace the kernel with the patched version

Code:
[COLOR=#880000]# in Terminal from the OS X installer, assuming your HDD volume is called "Macintosh HD"[/COLOR]
cp [COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]System[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Library[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR][COLOR=#660066]Kernels[/COLOR][COLOR=#666600]/[/COLOR]kernel [COLOR=#008800]"/Volumes/Macintosh HD/System/Library/Kernels/kernel"

[/COLOR]
7) Now you should be able to boot to the iinstallationHDD with the USB, use the multibeast program to install the driver you need as follows in the guide here

8) After installation MultiBeast,you might hit into another problem as follows. I not sure why but installation hasn't been smooth so far for me...I hit into almost every problem listed out there. But we can solve this. To solve the follow boot0 problem, boot into the HDD using the USB again and download the standalone chimera 4.0.1 and install it
ERFRIko.jpg

9) Now you should have a almost done MacOS, but you will notice your audio is missing even after installing multibeast. Follow the guide here with the ALC version you have to install the driver. if you encounter the following (my case here is alc 1150)

Code:
S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext is not native
Install native AppleHDA.kext
No system files were changed
You will need to do the following to restore the native AppleHDA

Code:
[COLOR=#000000]1. Load Yosemite Installer into Pacifist (google this and download)[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#000000]2. Extract the 3 parts of AppleHDA.kext from /S/L/E in:[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#000000]-BaseSystemBinaries.pkg[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#000000]-BaseSystemResources.pkg[/COLOR]
[COLOR=#000000]-Essentials.pkg
[/COLOR]Go into the following pkg and search for AppleHDA drag those to desktop.
[COLOR=#000000]3. when you drag those to desktop, they will auto combine into 1 AppleHDA.kext
[/COLOR][COLOR=#000000]4. Install with Kext Utility(google this to download)
5) repeat step 9 again
[/COLOR]

A correct ALC installation will look like

Code:
Verify EFI partition mounted, Finder/Devices/EFI
Password:
Confirm Realtek ALC892 (y/n):

Upgrade from ATI -> Nvdia graphics card.

First you need to boot with nv_disable=1
This is very important as yosemite has yet to support the latest gtx 970/980 driver yet.

After you boot into Yosemite desktop. Download the driver on the link below

http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/79077/en-us

How to Install the Web Drivers:
In order to flag the alternate drivers on a CustoMac using Chameleon/Chimera, you must install the package and also add the flag manually to the chameleon.org.Boot.plist. If you use Clover, you can toggle back and forth using the standard menubar or system preference pane.

1. Open Finder
2. Navigate to /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist
3. Open in TextEdit
4. Add nvda_drv=1 to Kernel Flags as shown:

Example Usage:

Code:
Code:
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>nvda_drv=1</string>
5. Save and reboot
