Hello All,
I own an old Samsung NP550 Series 5 laptop using an LVDS display.
After several tries, Have been able to successfully install and boot Big Sur.
Mostly everything works but has a weird issue.
After booting the display turns dull and has a grey tint. Might be a backlight issue with max brightness is dull
Have tried overriding the EDID, just copied from windows and pasted in the override.
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 3610QM 4 core 8 thread
RAM: 12GB @ 1600MHz
GPU: Integrated Intel HD 4000
SSD: 256GB
Display: 1600x900
The external display is also not working with HDMI. Can someone please help?
