Has anyone ever attempted a imac G3 casemod?

The (soon to be) internal LCD will only do 1024x768 as you just can't get higher res 15" panels. I have an external 22" monitor so screen estate won't be too bad though.

Microphone is now working, if you're interested you need to wire the follow to get it going:

iMac Microphone White -to- White cable in 3.5mm which is the left channel
iMac Microphone Black -to- Red cable in 3.5mm which is the right channel
iMac Microphone Red -to- Ground cable in 3.5mm which is the ground sleeve

I have completed a Green iMac case mod - replaced the crt with a 15" dell LCD - tons of space after that, fitted a PSU 4 fans, gigabyte morther board - 3.2 quad core i5 - 8gb ram - nvidia graphic card GT 650 Ti with 1gb cram - two 500gb SSD hard drives - sadly and for this sorry - I have had previously installed MacOSX - but it's just not very stable and have now reverted to Windows 10 pro 64bit - sorry - but I do have a brand good MacBook Pro 2017! - I'll post some pictures later on.

I'd love to see a G3 brought back to life, Custo-mac style! Has anyone ever done it, or is it even possible?

This is my now completed iMac G3 Snow, intel core i5 3.2 ghz 4th gen, 8 gb ram, 512 sad toshiba, nvidia 1050ti 4gb graphics card, running both high Sierra and window 10 64bit pro for gaming - has hdmi output on the rear as this was a DV snow model.
