Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Greetings, all. I have a very stable Z390 Designare i9 9900KS system for MacOS Ventura and Pro Tools and Vienna Symphonic Library -with fully-functioning Thunderbolt (hot swap/UAD Apollo -reconnect) for my UAD Apollo 8 Quad (Thunderbolt 2 with Thunderbolt 3-to-2 adapter).

Q: For my narrow-use case, is the Vision D still recommended as an alternative build for the same functionality? Or should I pickup a refurb Z390 Designare for a backup system? Or is there a better option for my use case?

Please and thank you...

If you have the EFI folder perfected for your Z390, I would get the same thing. Then all you'd do is generate new serials, and off you go. Of course the boards should be on the same BIOS version, too. On Amazon one seller is asking $399. Try eBay instead.

Still some at a reasonable price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/135020784406?
