Are you using iBoot Haswell ?

Help Plz.

Your profile shows 4790k, that cpu is an Ivy Bridge, you should use iBoot Ivy Bridge, when the CD boots, swap it for your SL DVD and press F5, select the SL Install DVD and just start with -v as a boot flag.

You 2 are funny :D

1. The i7 4790k is a haswell processer.
2. I dont have a Mac, so I sure cant get the UniBeast: Install OS X Yosemite.

But i may have found out what the problem could be. I use a USB DVD drive, and the installation dvd may not like that. But if its not that, then i am really lost.

Hmmm my 4790k was IB or at least it installed with iBoot ivy bridge ....

Booting from the USB and then trying to install from DVD makes my system crap out with ACPI error pretty much instantly, iBoot needs internal CD/DVD to work properly here so I think you already nailed it yourself

Very easy to remember CPUs
2xxx = Sandy Bridge
3xxx = Ivy Bridge
4xxx = Haswell
5xxx = Haswell-E
