Hello, Hack-Macs!

I am a real newbie!

I pimped up my computer with new hardware which is recommended in the buyers guide:

Gigabyte Z97MX-D3H
Intel BX80646I54690K Core i5-4690K (Socket 1150, 4x 3,5GHz)
Crucial BLS2C4G3D169DS3CEU (1600MHz, CL9, 2x 4GB) DDR3
Samsung 840 EVO Basic120GB, 256MB Cache, SATA III
TP-LINK TL-WDN4800

I put the BIOS an optimized defaults, the SATA on ACHI.
The HPET isn't on my BIOS and in my BIOS I can not disable the VT-d.
I can only full disable the Intel Video Technology

At first I tried with iBoot.
But here was no installation possible
The described possiblities like "PCIRootUID=1" or something else helped.

So I changed to iBoot Legacy.
The installtion was possible but the "Welcome Video" didn't appear.

So after the installation including the MultiBeast and Mac OS X 10.6.8 Combo Update I rebooted the computer.
The bootloader loaded. The Apple logo is to see a short time and after then the computer boot once again.
And this happens in a loop

So, who can give me a help in this case above.

My other problem is the installation of the MultiBeast.
There are so many options. I don't know wich one I have to choose.
How do I start the WLAN?

Please don't let me die silly!

Thanx for your help

P.S.: Please apologise my English. It isn't my native language and I forgot a lot.

Use iBoot Haswell

Thank you for your device.

One thing has change:
I see te welcome video during the installation.

But the loop in the boot after the installation is still alive!
I have order the graphic card Asus Geforce GTX 760 (my wife will kil me if she knows how expensive it is :shh:).
May be this will help for the loop. ...I dont't know.

How I can start the WLAN (TP-LINK TL-WDN4800)? Do I need a DSDT for it?

I will be graceful for every device!

Thank you

Can you connect to the internet? Have you updated to 10.6.8 so you can access the App Store and download Yosemite?

Snow Leopard will not boot from HDD on Haswell hardware you have and there isno support for ypur 760 in Snow Leopard.

This is what I have guess an fear for.
I've seen zhat I have a Z87 and not a Z97 as recommended.

I will change the motherboard and try again.

I will report how the new motherboard will work.

Thank you a lot.

Your Z87 board will work with Mavericks or Yosemite. Check the earlier recommended boards in earlier buying guides.

Oh!
I think I understand now:
The hardware I bought is for Mavericks or Yosemite.
I thought I begin with Snow Leopard and update in Snow Leopard to Yosemite.
So this means I need a Mac and the Yosemite update to bring my hardware to run?

If it so, then it isn't fine!
I have no Mac nearby...

You can install SL on your hardware, update it to 10.6.8 with the update combo, download and run the installer update, then download Yosemite, create a USB installer - either UniBeast of Clover, and install Yosemite. Run MultiBeast post install to get network and audio working and you have it made.
