Guide: Update OS X Mavericks to OS X Yosemite Using UniBeast and MultiBeast

Running sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext sudo killall coreaudiod after each wake up seems to do the trick, but it's not very elegant. It seems this is a known OS X issue...

Everything works fine in 10.9.4 -- except the audio wake-from-sleep issue. Same as 10.9.3. update: iMessage stopped working for me. Regular iMessage fix does not seem to work. It seems to be related to Chameleon v3. Does anyone else have this problem?

    Guide: Dell XPS 8500

I installed 10.9.4 yesterday. The only issue I had was the usual kernel panic regarding cpu power management. The solution I proposed earlier still works. Everything else works like in 10.9.3, at least for me. Attached is my multibeast config. Kudos to the tonymacx86 team for another great...

    Guide: Dell XPS 8500

I'm waiting until the SSD TRIM patch is available: Storage drivers updated - SSD TRIM patch will not work with 10.9.3 patch. Fix will be available in the next MultiBeast. If you have an SSD, it may not be a bad idea to hold on.

10.9.3 installed without issues for me, and it fixed the audio issue I was having. Still, I would back up everything before installing the update.

    Guide: Dell XPS 8500

Need some help here. I have an XPS 8500 and everything works fine (I added bluetooth and wifi, not using the built-in). Unfortunately, most times after I wake up the system from sleep, sound does not work (it works fine before sleep). It seems this is a known OS X issue...

    Guide: Dell XPS 8500

There's an easier way. Just boot into the multibeast os x installer, and start the terminal. Delete (or to be safe, just rename) the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext in /Volumes/YOUR DISK/System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext . Then reboot into your maverick installations...
