Does it actually get to the installer, where you choose a language. If not start up with -v and and see where it is hanging up at, then post what you find. It sounds like a graphic card problem. If so you need to add GraphicsEnabler =Yes command also.
Was this just a upgrade from ML and not a clean install ? If so I would save all my files and apps and then try installing from scratch. The system preferences should not be giving you that message.....
Go to-->System Preferences and click on-->Security & Privacy then under-->Allow Apps downloaded from :-->click on
Anywhere. Now you should be able to run Multibeast and finish your installation.
I had to use -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1 to start up on the usb installer and also the first time starting up(before multibeast installtion ) Mavericks installation. Everything seems to be working. Below are my Multibeast setting that I used.

I used -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1 and can get to the install screen and everything works except at the end of the install it gives a message that it failed. I have tried at least 10 times and still no luck..........
Make sure you have the bios set to start up by the CD instead of Hard drive. When restarting the computer press the Escape key ( to change the startup order for that one time ) or F10 key to change the bios settings for startup order for every time.
Sorry to inform all ASRock owners but my ASRock P55 Extreme motherboard died on November 24 ,2010 just a little 1 year and 1 week from the day I ordered it from Newegg. I did not build this computer until Christmas of that year. I contacted ASRock about the failure, and it was out of warranty...
I have the EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB and it works out of the box with only GraphicsEnabler=Yes string in the com.apple.Boot. It will give you a 7.0 Windows Experience Index rating for graphics and gaming.I can highly recommend this card, it is a very well built card.
Re: ATTN FatShenanigans ASRocks DSDT 's
All I needed was <string>GraphicsEnabler=Yes</string> inserted into my com.apple.Boot.plist or use multibeast and install the standard com.apple.Boot.plist it already has it inserted.
I had a 4850 that I could not get to work either. I bought a EVGA 9800 GTX+ 512MB and it works great with just graphicsenabler=yes in the com.apple boot.plist and could not be happier. Just make sure you have a big enough case, this card is a little big.
