[Guide] Lenovo Y580 - El capitan (10.11) using Clover UEFI

Tried... I can't save any settings in BIOS. I can't for example reorder HDDs or disable EFI mode. I tried also to downgrade BIOS to v2 (I used v8 for custom WiFi) but after beeping and annoying people - nothing happened :v Welp... At least i have W10 on HDD... Could be worse.

[Guide] Lenovo Y580 - El capitan (10.11) using Clover UEFI

I can't! It doesn't recognise USB at all. No UEFI mode, no UEFI boot entries... I just made debian usb stick drive. And it doesn't work. https://www.dropbox.com/s/q2nx1oaggamhgh1/Zdjęcie 02.07.2016, 16 41 18.jpg?dl=0 There is another thing - I cleared SSD using gparted and managed to run...

[Guide] Lenovo Y580 - El capitan (10.11) using Clover UEFI

I have very strange issue (and i hope someone of you had similar). I had dualboot OSX & 8.1 on same SSD drive. Everything worked, but then I ran Windows Update and restarted pc to finish update. Unfortunately now my UEFI doesn't see any EFI partition. Not Clover on SSD, Not Windows on SSD, not...

[Guide] Yosemite (10.10.X) on Lenovo Y580 with Clover

    1. Nevermind, I missed "Calculating for WATTS". But as you can see - the difference between fMaxCapacity and fDesignCapacity is not so large. Right? 2. I meant HTML Table cells (output is in HTML) are empty in Capacity column ;) But Lenovo Power Management says that battery is fine. 3. and 4...

[Guide] Yosemite (10.10.X) on Lenovo Y580 with Clover

I'm wondering why it sets battery capacity twice. Funny thing 1) On Windows 10TP powercfg /batteryrepor does not tell me mAh (empty cells). Funny thing 2) Broken logo when loading system. I got used to it. Funny thing 3) Booting Windows10TP: Clover -> Choose W10 -> Chameleon -> Choose W10...

[Guide] Yosemite (10.10.X) on Lenovo Y580 with Clover

System Raport Cycle Count: 0 Charge remaining: 633 mAh Full charge capacity: 636 mAh What? These values can't be so low. I can use my laptop for 2-3 (even 4 when wifi is disabled) hours. It should be at least 3000 mAh (default is 6000 mAh AFAIK).
