Just brilliant man! I followed the steps after updating 1.2.9 and it worked on my High Sierra! We can live with this small problem than using older vulnerable bios.
Yes I can confirm, after trying many things none worked. Downgraded the bios to 1.2.4 and everything ok now.
May be somebody here can debug the whole process with our sample laptops ? As I am worried the lower bios has some series security issues.
Hey, I shall share my files once I remove my battery....I honestly think there is something that Dell has messed up, if you go to the bios detail link I shared in my first post, the date now say Released on 06 Feb 2018 without changing the version number. Clearly the same version was there...
Unfortunately I did not find any solution yet. 'Preloader.efi' did not work. As of moment I am out of any ideas. At least a couple of others are facing the same issue.

No such thing found as Preloader.efi as far as I could search, people are recommending OsxAptio2FixDrv and other variants such as OsxAptioFixDrv-2000 or something. None worked.
Well in order to boot to the USB installer or from SSD, I have to disconnect my battery from the laptop and run the laptop only on AC power. Otherwise, it stucks on the following two lines,

Seems like everything is working great. I believe your patch for Dell Inspiron 7xxx contains my battery patch as well (as I have noticed pre-bios problem).
patched DSDT is working but as soon as I connect my battery to board, the same famous two lines mentioned earlier in this thread.
ok I did a CMOS reset hoping that it would fix BIOS incorrect time issue but it didn't. Interestingly during the assembling I tried to and able to boot pass those famous two lines ! All i had to do was remove the battery from the board and run the laptop on ACPI.
Since it was giving my ACPI...
I have re-downloaded the Mac installer and re-created the usb but still the same. I will send you the clover files from USB shortly.
One more thing I noticed that wrong time in BIOS. So if I fixed it, it keeps the time but windows time gets wrong and if I sync in windows then BIOS time gets...
None of the above worked. I have three usb sticks, two USB2 and one USB3 but none worked. I was though able to boot the installer on my HP 4540s though.
I have even downgraded my BIOS to last stable 1.2.5 but still the same error.
Thinking to remove all ssd and put only one back in to try...
Did EC Reset. Created different usb stick installer. Change ram slots, removed 2nd ssd. Tried all usb slots. Still the same error.
BIOS:
VT for Direct I/O off
AHCI of course
Advance Battery charging off
Secure Boot OFF
UEFI boot duh
Intel Software Gaurd off.
Firmware TPM Off
OPROM Off / On...
So I have brought real mac from office and created a new fresh installation usb with Rehabman's updated clover and guide of course.
Trying to boot to the installer but still the same error! Attaching clover with F2 and F4.
