NVIDIA Launches "Maxwell" GeForce GTX 750 and 750 ti Graphics Cards

That would be great if you share your settings for clover. Just a heads up Yosemite auto-updated to 10.10.1 which I have now disabled the auto updating setting. It evidently broke the current NVIDIA driver so when the machine rebooted OS X wasn't recognising my video card. I could still use my...

NVIDIA Launches "Maxwell" GeForce GTX 750 and 750 ti Graphics Cards

I'm using Chimera. I did try to use clover but I wasn't successful getting the video card to work. At one point when I changed many options I couldn't get back into the OS so I re-installed Yosemite and stuck with Chimera till I can either find a guide or documentation for the way I need to...

NVIDIA Launches "Maxwell" GeForce GTX 750 and 750 ti Graphics Cards

I'm guessing you installed that new 10.10.1 Yosemite update. So you'll need this driver. http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/80070/en-us Boot using -x and remove the NVIDIA driver you've currently installed. Download the driver above and install which I think will force a...

NVIDIA Launches "Maxwell" GeForce GTX 750 and 750 ti Graphics Cards

You need to make sure the dev mode is added to the org.chameleon.Boot.plist Mine looks like this: <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>kext-dev-mode=1 nvda_drv=1</string> -- As for audio I had to use an older version of multibeast (6.1.0) and apply ALC898.

NVIDIA Launches "Maxwell" GeForce GTX 750 and 750 ti Graphics Cards

Sorry, I am still a fresh nooby hackintosher so my experience is very tiny. I was getting random freezes using Mavericks and my solution was to update the BIOS to a beta version. An idea I can think of is to check the console (Applications > Utilities > Console) and see what the log says before...

    GA-Z87X-UD5H with 4 sticks of ram @ 1600MHz speed

I also have a GA-Z87X-UD5H and was getting the random freezes. I did update the bios to the stable F5 version but still got the random freezes. I took your advice and tried the beta F8 and so far so good I haven't had any random freezes after 48hrs. Update: Still good I haven't had a freeze yet.
