Hi,
I'm still running High Sierra, because of my 1080TI. I thought I'd give opencore a chance.
however, I noticed it takes a few seconds (10) before the bootloader initializes, is that normal?
when it runs, first line: "Failed to find ACPI SSDT-EC_USBX.aml ...
can you advise?
damn, well mine never actually wakes up, I was starting to think there is something wrong with the card itself ... XD. Rather frustrating. thank you for the update though!
Hello,
I have exactly the same problem as @fzahn defined.
I can also add to this that with mine, I have a further problem, when the wifi is on, the bluetooth doesn't work reliability and vice versa
please help.
Im going to upload my EFI folder because I have the latest kext and the latest drivers working perfectly. fixed all my problems.
and yes placing intel in "headless" mode as far as I know is better for the overall lagging issue, while maintaining airplay.
Hi all,
Solution:
The usb injectors I have created using rehabmans guide was correct but it was being overridden by injectallusb.kext, because my bluetooth card was plugged into port HS14 which is supposed to show up at internal or 255, instead it was showing up as usb 3 (0x03), so I opened...
yes that what i did, i created my own, and i did set port HC14 to 255. funny enough on system report shows up as internal but IOReg shows it up as connector 0x3
Hi, pastrychef,
Quick question: I followed the Tut for the tutorial correctly, everything works fine but the Bluetooth.
In the SSDT_USB.aml, i stated that port HS14 is internal (Bluetooth port), however, when i reboot, it shows up as USB connector= 0x3 which is USB 3 ... why is that?
I did...
AptioMemoryFix . .. 3?
PastryChef's guide is what i followed for my build. I have to say, i got the 1080ti working with no artefacts but when i used it with the adobe suite, it restored the lag issue.
Whats the status of intel graphics for you? enabled? 0x59120000 ... i think your intel is...
hi,
I had this issue, it happened when I updated the NvidiaFixup kext from 1.2.4 to 1.2.6, seems like the kext might have some issues. Also, when it works fluidly, you will get lag if you use adobe software.
the Nvidia drivers are still Beta so please be patient, I've taken out my 1080ti and...
I got it, turn off the ram overclock aka profile 1 aka XMP from bios. this will get sleep working for you.
I had to take out my 1080Ti and use my GTX780. the 1080Ti graphics cards are laggy when using the adobe suite ... any ideas?
Hi all,
I want to ask about ASMedia USBS 3.1, I'm struggling to understand how he's managed get them to be %100 functional.
Mine work but they disconnect and reconnect at wake ... any ideas why?
I used InjectAllUsb kext to mount all then I used UIA-Exlude to exclude the empty ports...
May i add to this that in system info, there are two entries of Intel UHD 630. and does changing the system bios have any effect on the USBs or CPU PM?
If I put my IGPU into “headless” mode. And I have a hdmi attached to it. It crashes at boot ...
Edit: you’re right
I needed to enable Rc6 for headless sleep mode to work. So all fixed now. Apart from the fact that I don’t have XMP. Is it too much trouble to ask for what settings your XMP changes?
Sleep is now fully working and the system is falwless. Apart from the fact that I can not turn off IGPU.
You know what’s interesting , XMP mode in my board tunes the CPU and changes the voltage of the following:
With regards to the XMP, id like the small overclock it achieves. So would you mind telling me what parameters XMP changes for you and to what ? Maybe if I match them, sleep may work.
Could be power management?
The 630 shows up because I have to connect one monitor to it to see clover boot...
