Thank you! I couldn't get it to go past that dead end (I'm guessing I didn't have all the necessary kexts). I went for a Unibeast install and it worked.
I'm having a difficult time updating from El Capitan to High Sierra (using the APFS Guide).
When I get to Clover, I have four options:
1. Boot Filevault pre-booter from Preboot
2. Boot macOS Install Prebooter from Preboot
3.Boot MacOS from SSD
4.Boot Recovery from Recovery
I've only played...
Thanks, Bob The Tomato (Phil Vischer?!). I've never even heard of Laridian before! That's awesome.
Ok, so I have something semi-workable here. I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean by "activating the CPU," but here's what I did.
I plugged my monitor into the CPU and I got a glimpse...
Haha. I am using iMac14,2! What was interesting is that I sent in a screenshot of the issue to their support and the first question was "Are you using a Hackintosh?" lol. They're on to me. ;)
I'm not sure if there's a better place to put this topic. But, I have an issue with an app called Logos. Their tech support won't help me resolve the issue saying that they can't address any issues on Hackintoshes. So, any help would be greatly appreciated!
The app's home screen just shows...
Hey Hackintoshers!
So, I'm stuck. I'm trying to upgrade to Mojave from High Sierra and don't know what I've done wrong.
Gigabyte G97X-UD7-TH
Nvidia Geforce GTX 770
Can't remember the CPU right now (I think i7 4770k)
I'm installing with a bootable USB.
Mojave is already installed.
I'm just...
Yes and no. The technical limitations of FAT32 are the same- 4GB. However, Finder won't move anything over 2GB to FAT32. So, I found a workaround by using another file system called Forklift. It's in the App Store and I was able to transfer my files without any hiccups.
Hey there, I'm having a bit of an issue with my custom ssdt. Specifically, I'm not sure that I'm patching the config.plist correctly. I pasted the Ehc1 > EH01 thing over into the plist, but maybe I did it wrong. My Ioreg still shows USB 2.0 as EHC.
Thank you for this article and all of your help.
I have all of my USB ports working on a GA-797X-UD7-TH. My problem is that all of them are only operating as USB 2.0, when all of them are capable of USB 3.0. All of my drives are 3.0 (even 3.1), but it puts them under the USB 2.0 bus. There's a USB 3.0 bus listed, but I can't find the port (I'm...
I missed the cut off for Sierra, but wanted to do the update to High Sierra.
I have a:
Gigabyte z97x-UD7 TH motherboard
4 GHz Intel Core i7
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 4096 MB
When I try to boot to the High Sierra Install from clover, it fails to load. I ran verbose and came across an error with...
1. I did an update last weekend (10.11.5) and no longer have any audio outputs. Tried everything to the best of my ability and no dice.
2.OSX 10.11.5
Gigabyte Z77X-UP4-TH
Bios F9
i7 3770k
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2048 MB
3. I tried this guide and Multibeast- and every recommended guide between...
THAT WAS IT!!!!!!
I'm in! Disabling XHCI let me install Yosemite and run multibeast (what does xhci do?). I already have USB 3.0 and audio working. Now I'm just working on TRIM and thinking about 10.10.3.
Jithin C.V. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! You were a major help!
That's what I have in there now :/. Just one stick of ram, no gfx card, one USB. Got the wifi card off and cd drive unplugged too.
Thans for for your continued help!
Haven't had access for a couple days but here's where I'm at:
Tried To start over by by erasing nd repartitioninh the ub drive. Installed unibeast without legacy or laptop support. Loaded optimized defaults. Vhanged the bios settings as per post 7. Then booted with -x -v -f. Still waiting for...
I got excited for a moment haha! I have one USB now with clover and one with unibeast. I will try to reload unibeast on the flash drive. To my knowledge, I did not add any extra kexts. I installed unibeast and added multibeast to it. And then proceeded as normal.
