I tried the PCI NVME adapter and suffered the same issue I'm afraid. No other NVME drives running and my SATA drives are on non shared busses. Trying to stay positive here .
Sadly even with the Port Mapping complete and resetting of NVRAM I’m getting the same system freezes. Just a reminder that this problem has existed since running system from NVME Drive.
Thank you that's done.It appeared in Opencore menu I ran ResetNvram then loaded Hackintool ,Cleared and refreshed but still no comments. Is resetting the NVRam something I should do after a Port Mapping anyway ?
Nope still can't see anything. Just to confirm I am replacing the UTMAp.kext with yours using OCAT and resaving to .config file on EFI.Then rebooting and running Hackintool / USB / Clear all / Refresh ?
Ok yep understood. End of a long day I probably should have figured that out.I’ll be back on it on Sunday. It seems even with the small remaining changes the machine is stable. Thank you again!
Thank you. I've replaced my UTBMap with yours but I can't verify that it's any different. There are no comments and I think it's the same as mine when viewed in Hackintool.
OK so the machine has started something new.It now just restarts randomly.Since the original post I have enabled SIP ( should this be on or off ? ) and made a new UTBMap kext. Also a reminder that these issues have only become apparent since moving to an NVMe Drive although it did freeze on...
I used USB Tool box on Windows to port map.I expected to see 2 ports available on USB3 Header (the one above the Type C Header on the picture you provided) which goes to the 2 x Front USB Ports (5/6) but I could only ever discover port 6 on both front USB ports (weird??) . I was prompted by USB...
@Edhawk Thank you so much for the detailed response.I'm going to get on this today and I'll report back.
I'd be interested to know what options I have enabled or not that don't follow the OC guide ? I thought I had followed that verbatim.
Hi all. This Kernel panic seems to be happening randomly but consistently on shutdown where it freezes at the last stage of shutdown.
I've recently changed the system across to an WDSN770 NVMe. Prior to running off NVMe I would only experience the freeze on shutdown.
Would dearly appreciate any...
Would the presence of a Samsung 970 Evo Plus on one of my M.2 slots still cause an issue even if it were not the system disk ? Can it be used as media storage drive internally ?
Thank you @baryw . I'm sorry I don't have any tips for waking from sleep. My Bios additional settings are below. My machine does come back nicely from sleep. On wake Thunderbolt audio devices reconnect which isn't a good thing while running Audio Apps like Logic Pro so I will (as always) not be...
Hey people,I've just built a new Hackintosh and I'm all up and running but for 2 very important Applications that will not run due to what looks like a GPU process error. Diagnosing these console logs is way above my pay grade. Not being able to run either of these Apps is a real showstopper so...
