Apologies for digging up such an old thread but I came across this when looking for info on making a hackintosh out of my E6400.
Does this mean an E6400 with Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics is essentially useless as a hackintosh? Can it not be done?
Thought I'd ask before I start wasting my time!

Thanks, got this working really quite well now ... a whole lot better than it ever did on my Dell D630 that's for sure!
Pretty sure my wifi card is incompatible but struggling a little with Audio / Display / Battery and sleep now. On the whole, working pretty well though.

Your quite right, I had overlooked the needs to patch the kernel. I have now done so and am getting further I'm pleased to say, though still not right through to the installer yet.
Booting now I can make it all the way through to an error about 'Missing Bluetooth...
Just to add ...
when booting without verbose I get a split second where the Apple logo shows and it looks like the installer is about to start but this is immediately before the crash.
