    G73JH(probably other 5-series) Sleep/wake and shutdown issue

Okay sorry, wrong expressed. But it´s for sure related to the usb devices. My sleep is working with my sleepwatcher solution, but as is said before it is no clean solution. Never had this problem on any system. So it´s seems to be related to Series 5 Chipset and the new USB drivers. Strange thing.

    G73JH(probably other 5-series) Sleep/wake and shutdown issue

No it does not prevent the automaticly sleep. pmset -g assertions will just show me what process will prevent the automaticly sleep. If i choose sleepmode by myself it trys to go to sleep but then it stops, displays stays on, hdd flashes permanent and it doesn´t go to sleep. Just without the...

    G73JH(probably other 5-series) Sleep/wake and shutdown issue

It prevents sleep. Just with unloaded AppleUSBEHCIPCI it goes to sleep. And yes all importand kexts for sleep are loaded: AppleLPC, AppleHPET, AppleRTC and AppleIntelCPUPM. As is already said, i elimated all unused ports but it doesn´t matter. I also tried to configure EH01 and EH02 empty so...

    G73JH(probably other 5-series) Sleep/wake and shutdown issue

No it is not using all of this. Just 3 from EH01 and 2 from EH02. Also tried it, this is just the last (full) configuration which i posted. Also tried to to configure EH01 and EH02 that no ports are loaded but as soon the kext is loaded on the system it prevents sleep.

    G73JH(probably other 5-series) Sleep/wake and shutdown issue

Believe me i did inject it correct. I created 1 port for eh01 and eh02 (which name i changed in dsdt). Then i configured it from values in the dsdt. Here EH01 und EH02 in the injector. I also configured the HUB: But i also tried it without the HUB ports, so that it can found automaticly. I...

    G73JH(probably other 5-series) Sleep/wake and shutdown issue

Shutdown is slower with enabled usb but it is working. You can also write a shutdown script for it. To try if it is working unload the kext and put it to sleep. If it is working you can configure the sleepwatcher which is doing this automaticly. before sleep: sudo kextunload...

    G73JH(probably other 5-series) Sleep/wake and shutdown issue

I´ve the same problem on my Asus 5 series laptop. Right now i´ve a dirty solution. With sleepwatcher i unload the /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBHostFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleUSBEHCIPCI.kext driver before sleep, which allows my system to sleep. After the sleep sleepwatcher will load it...
