I've got a GA-X58A-UD7 rev 1 with F7 BIOS & a ATI 5970, I followed your steps with Chameleon wizard to create plist etc & it stops at start up with this text - [PCI configuration begin] Any ideas? It's the same as yours, maybe it's the video card, I've had success altering kexts in Lion & Snow...
