    No write access?

I used a brand new new drive (SSD) so that I could easily revert back if needed. I formatted (or partitioned?) the new drive following the install guide and installed the new OS on it. After the install I used Migration Assistant to carry over all my programs and files. Now that I type it out...

    No write access?

I have successfully upgraded to 10.10.3 from 10.8.5 (it was a long time coming). Everything running smoothly except for one problem. There seems to be some kind of hangup with my permissions/access to any of my hard drives. When I want to copy or move a file in the finder it makes me type in my...

    GPU Monitor

Good suggestion. For some reason, I thought iStat Menus didn't show GPU. Probably have that impression because I still run the old widget they made for Dashboard, which must be quite outdated compared to iStat Menus. Thanks!

    GPU Monitor

I do video and motion graphics work in After Effects and Premiere (CUDA enabled). I find it's useful to have Activity Monitor open while I'm working, it helps me know which of my actions and plugins effect CPU and how quickly my memory is filled up doing various tasks. It would be really nice...

    Multiple GPU's for Video Editing

Thanks for posting all this, I'm also interested in "getting to the bottom" of it. Sound's like you are sticking with FCPX and the Apple suite. I went the other route and switched to Adobe stuff a couple years ago, and so I picked my graphics card based on CUDA for speeding up Premiere and...

No Drives Detected for Install (using UniBeast 1.7.0)

[BIG EDIT]: After a big headache, I found out I had a bad power cable running to my hard drives. One of those things I should have checked early on but didn't - I switched out my SATA cables but not power. Anyways, I feel dumb but at least I got everything working. Thanks to everyone who replied.
