How do I know which DSDT to download for my GIGABYTE GA-Z68AP-D3 1155 socket?
I go to download it and there's a bunch of different options with "1.0 F8" "1.0 F7" all the way down to "2.x FA". I'm assuming the numbers are the revisions of the BIOS firmware, but what about the "FA" part...
That was my original plan, to upgrade to mavericks since I heard it might solve the issue I am having on this particular hackintosh (won't output HDMI for a new TV I bought to use as monitor).
But my thread about it got no response after the initial help a non-moderator gave...
Oh my apologies, let me upload again.
Also, how would I go about getting fermi drivers for mac? I thought mac didn't have graphic drivers - at least they never do when I search for them.
I want to switch out the graphics card in my machine to a Nvidia GTX 560 Ti.
How can I go about this?
EDIT: To clarify, I don't need help actually putting the hardware in, I need help knowing exactly what to do to not crash my machine, I think I need to use multibeast for something? And would...
My BIOS does not have CSM, and I've tried near every single option (short of overclocking options) with every single USB port.
I can take pictures of my Bios, but would a ~30 sec video clip serve better function?
What's strange is the exact same method with Lion worked, which is running on...
Followed the instructions in creating a Bootable USB drive with Unibeast.
My computer won't recognize the USB drive to boot from.
Bios settings are to boot from Removable Drive.
I've tried every single USB slot on my machine, and still nothing.
I've tried both the Legacy USB support in...
Subject title says it all. When I go to download mavericks from the App store, it asks me to log in, then it gives me an error... I can't get it from any other place it seems.
Any thoughts?
No one knows? I've put about 30 hours combined into this problem alone, still no results. I feel like the answer is something really simple too.
I searched the forums here on tonymacx86 too, and I never could find a solution from other similar posts...
So I have tested several things, and I want to know if anyone can help me.
The computer runs really smooth in safe mode (-x), but even if I use the Mountain Lion USB as the boot drive in the BIOS, then boot from the Hard Disk at the Chimera screen, it's still extremely sluggish (a lot of beach...
Subject says it all. If I boot without -x, then the computer is extremely slow, sluggish and unresponsive. Please help!

Ok so I now have 1 last question. I downloaded Mtn Lion, made the thumb drive with it, installed it and everything runs in safe mode (it's just really sluggish) so I figured EasyBeast didn't work, so I need to do my own DSDT. But I just don't understand something about the downloadable DSDTs on...
I got another screenshot from her. She said she typed the "-x" for me at the chimera screen.
If this helps then I will be grateful! Also my Dad can use Terminal, he is savvy enough I think to work through it. Would that be the easiest method of fixing this remotely? Thank you again.
It was with "-v" is what she told me, because "-x -v" would only do the apple logo + spinning wheel nonstop. I was trying to have her recreate the screen that was cutoff earlier, she sent me that screen shot.
Sorry for the frustrations, troubleshooting remotely is proving difficult, which is...
I had her boot up twice using "-x", and both times this screen occured:
Could this be a simple fix like switching out a kext? Otherwise if it requires a full fresh install, I am unsure how I go about retrieving her files.
