PowerMac G5 PC Case Mod...yet again :) (build log)

Ah, thanks! :D...it's the wiring I'm not looking forward to :( I picked up an LSI SAS card that has the right connector but even then the MiniSAS connector on the back of the shelf doesn't stretch...so splicing on some donor cables it is then. That MacPro is used for testing and making...

PowerMac G5 PC Case Mod...yet again :) (build log)

Update: 18/03/2020 Due to the ongoing situation with the virus my university has closed, this has left me with a bit of spare time so I thought I would crack on with this project, here is what I have managed so far, I transplanted the HDD Caddy system from my MacPro 1,1 into the top space of...

PowerMac G5 PC Case Mod...yet again :) (build log)

Hey, I have just seen you have done a G5 yourself :) I was reading through your post on it, it's a very clean build :) well done. I have to agree with what is being said on your post about LTT's case mod, it's absolutely awful :/ one thing I have noticed about people that mod these G5's is they...

PowerMac G5 PC Case Mod...yet again :) (build log)

HP Z600 10.14.6 install guide (PS2 keyboard and mouse not required)

As a long-time lurker and Hackintosher, this forum has been an incredible resource for me so after completing my latest project, a HP Z600 I decided to give back a little and make a guide for anyone else having trouble with this machine, as I sure know I did. Hardware Requirments: An...

[SUCCESS] HP Z600 High Sierra Installation Guide

Hey, I have installed 10.14.5 Mojave on this machine (HP Z600, 2x X5650, FL1100 USB 3.0, RX480). High Sierra and subsequent Mojave installs always felt kind of sloppy, and a little bit laggy, I put this down to the age of the machine however I have since discovered that incomplete CPU power...
