Stupid question - But its been ages since ive upgraded OS..
Running Yosemite 10.10.5 and Clover
Can i attempt an upgrade to capitan via app store? Or do i need to go through the process from scratch / reinstall
Thanks
:beachball:
Howdy,
No drivers installed for 10.10.1 or 2 so shouldn't need for 3 for graphics (it works out of box full res with HDMI)
Im hesitant to try as it takes me a few hrs to get it working again :|
I should also note that the only way i get yosemite installed is to use unibeast,
then instead of multibeast.. install clover - and inject my lan/audio kexts and bam works. including imessage.
Hi All,
Running a X58a mobo, 24gig ram and nvidia card off the confirmed list.
Updated to 10.10.2 - 0 issues, 10.10.3 and she wont boot.
Past clover screen then just blackscreen. Couldnt even boot via unibeast into my install.
Anyone got any ideas - had to reinstall and now running 10.10.2 again
Using Yosemite, which kexts do you use for a
GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R (Rev. 2.0)
for both sound and network?
Everything was working fine in mavericks but since the latest update came through it killed it.
Now im hell bent on getting Yosemite working
should be:
Realtek ALC889 codec
Network...
Using Clover and a crappy old geforce card, i can boot via USB using clover (as seen in screenshots above) but cant get network working or sound - and cant get the system to boot without the USB
:banghead:
Trying again.. Any suggestions where to start? I'm using loading a dtst for my mobo, maybe that's wrong
how can I reinstall multi beast settings without a full OS X install?
Hi All,
All was working wonderful on mavericks, did a fresh clean install of yosemite.
Installation went smooth, no issues. The second i use multibeast, the box will not boot.
I get a white screen with a loading bar (frozen)
-v mode i see the following:crazy:

Article: OS X 10.9.3 Update
I couldnt boot after installing the update
Using Radeon 6700
I had to get into safe mode + use the PCI flags to get into the desktop
Then copy my extensions folder from backup and replace existing
Then fix permissions from terminal - reboot, booyeah.
:clap...
I lost all graphics after doing the 9.2 update, (Radeon 6770)
Spent HOURS trying to resolve.. The ONLY way i could fix it was to copy the extensions folder from my time machine backup and dump it over my new extensions folder then run a repair permissions.
Reboot, all is back to normal! Woo!
