SoundFlower is a program right? Try deleting it.

A little random but is the onboard sound turned on in the BIOS Integrated Peripherals? Also add a debug command to your boot up arguments, debug=0x100 this helped me when I was having issues with my 690 as it would dump the error msg on the screen when the screen blanked.

As you know getting stuck at "PCI configuration begin" is usually a combination or npci=0x3000 and PCIRootUID=1/0 so maybe boot in -s and clear contents of; /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches

Yes that's correct. It will also probably stop sleep/wake working. I'd use it as a temporary fix whilst you look for a better solution. It's located in System\Library\Extensions. Ensure you repair permissions before you reboot. This can be done from Disk Utility.

Boot using -s then type; sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/ this will delete the contents of this folder and force the system to reload the kexts it needs to boot. Try this first, after that we can try deleting the Extra folder possibly.

I assume you mean appleintelcpupowermanagement? You could just delete it (backup a copy to desktop) but that would result in your CPU running at full whack all the time....

It's probably a sleep/wake issue then. You might find it happens everytime the computer sleeps fully. Or maybe it was just a single event. Either way at least it's working now :)

Have you purchased these parts individually or as a complete machine? I would suggest that it's not the best choice of components for a Hackintosh.... what boot flags did you use to install mountain lion with the USB?
