Awesome! Thanks for the upgrade instructions, haven't had time to upgrade mine yet. Still in doubt if I want to do a clean install on a different hard drive or perform an upgrade on the existing drive.

Great that you succeeded! When trying to build my Hackintosh I had a lot of trouble getting USB and ethernet to work after reboot. Eventually the combination of kexts I use work. With 8Gb of RAM and a Q9400 it's really snappy! Curious to see if these machines will run Yosemite when it comes out...
