Doh, I never thought of that... maybe just use a piece of the case mesh in your cutting any out of your case for a backplate.

I'm sorry for the lack of progress lately.... I'm struggling with coming up with a new plan on how to continue, swapping some of the intended parts to a new full ATX build has forced me to rethink my approach. lol As soon as I decide which way to go with these builds I'll start posting again.

I've decided to use my new 7 hot swap drive cage from The Laser Hive for a full ATX build. I've a couple of cases waiting in the wings for projects. Built a new blue tooth mod for the hack, put together a new wifi mod using info from this thread...

The G5 listed below was used in our house... though not by me to often. I was a little slow catching the Mac bug. ;^) Apple PowerMac G5 1.8GHz Dual Power (PCI), 512MB RAM, 80/160GB HDD & Super Drive (10.4 Tiger)

I have found that if you have a usb header that stays energized even when the computer is turned off... such as on some Asus m/b's used for iphones/smart phone charging these bluetooth modules work more reliably and are available in the bios. I not sure which m/b manufacturers have this feature...

Thank you Ersterhernd, it's always hard to do justice to a project when following up on such fine work as yours.... I really liked your different approach to mounting the psu. And here are some more photo's. The G5 mATX backplate conversion kit installed, fan test fit, fan and guard installed.
