I just got a 27" monitor to replace a 24" TV that I had been using as a 2nd monitor so that I could have a "real" monitor. Using the exact same HDMI cable for the monitor that I was for the TV, and it took a while to get it to recognize the monitor. Took a couple reboots and hopeful cable...
