Thanks ... I finally gotten UniBeast to work by including NullCPUPowerManagement.kext on the EFI partition sometime ago.
There are two outstanding issues; the ability to boot directly into MAC OS X and getting the audio to work natively.
That said, I've managed to implement work-arounds...
Like yourself I kinda getting the same issue in that the apple logo is appearing with a black background showing a progress bar underneath.
Then nothing happens ... waited ten minutes for any sign processing ... nada
I'm not sure whether the problem is linked to the post-installation...
How did you copy NullCPUPowerManagement.kext to the EFI partition on your USB stick for the install of "El Capitan"
Do you simply copy the file or did use some special software to do this?
Can you kindly provide instructions on how you copied the NullCPUPowerManagement.Kext to the EFI...
Very comprehensive ... but may I ask why you have dedicated SSD having OS X and Windows 7 along with Parallels software? I would of thought that having separate o/s installs would not necessitate the requirement of Parraells?

Is the sound corrupted when heard through the headphone jack?
Also, do you receive a boot error when booting into OS X on your...

What did I do to achieve this? Simply put, I'd wiped MAC OS X and then re-installed Windows 7 to verify that the on-board audio is working as intended. Then I'd discovered the same issue in Windows in that sound was non-existant. Then I'd...
I'm having the same issue in that I've 'successfully' installed Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on my hackintosh but audio is garbled/corrupted. I've observed that I can lower or raise the volume using the sound-bar icon.
I've ran Multi-beast 3.10.1 as well as 3.7.3 and enabled/disable the various...
H ya,
I'm currently building my first and hopefully last Hackintosh.
My machine build is very similar to yours in that I'm using the same motherboard, gigbayte GA-Z68XP-UD3 with a AMD Radeon 6850 instead of the AMD 6870.
I've managed to get Snow Leopard "working" v10.6.8 first time with...
From reading the various threads in the forums, the common consensus is that you need to buy a dedicated graphics board as the MAC OS X Snow Leopard does not recognize the graphics chip (Intel HD 2000/3000) on your motherboard.
Like yourself I'm building my first hackintosh using the Gigabyte...
