Apparently one of my ram sticks was bad. I replace it and now Activity Monitor is reporting properly.

My install has gone pretty good for this new project - I have a z68ma-d2h-b3 F10 bios with an Ivy Bridge i5 3.4 running 10.7.4. Most everything runs smoothly but in Activity monitor I get some really weird...

I have Bios version f11 and it runs great with just UserDSDT setting on Multibeast
If you ever plan to overclock, you should go with the 'K' version. Your motherboard is quite capable of doing some OC it looks like.
I bought the regular to save a couple bucks but I really have 0 plans to overclock this compy
Hoorah! After much fussing with this graphics card in 10.7.2, everything works like a dream now (including the free CD/DVD burner I got with the case ;D). Working on typing up my procedure and placing it in the user builds category.
For MultiBeast, I used the UserDSDT and the appropriate DSDT...

The Zotac GeForce GT440 1GB DDR3 is on the list of supported cards and is a bit cheaper... maybe worth considering? I'm not much of a graphics guy but they seem to be comparable...

My only concern about ditching the Graphics card: a lot of the plugins I use analyze waveforms in real time and sometimes I have 3 or 4 going at once. Would using the CPU as a graphics unit impede my audio processing performance? Also, the graphics card is only $15. :3
