it drove me nuts for 3 years. I exchanged my Nvme intel 600 256gb for a Samsung EVO plus Nvme. Since than I didn’t had those reboots. In the meantime I switched over to a Mac Mini M1. Hackintosh was Nice and fun but the new Apple silicon machines makes hackintoshing obsolete IMHO.

I noticed something. When I turn on: Settings > Energy Savings > Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off. The sluggishness comes back. Do you have it on?

No. neither of those except Lilu. Im gonna boot without Lilu and see whether the sluggishness goes away.

I reinstalled my Hackintosh 10.13.6 directly. - I noticed sluggish is getting back, but with no reboots so far. :(

Thank you @P1LGRIM. You might have stumbled upon the solution. First, I uninstalled Virtualbox but the random reboots still persisted. Second. I removed NullCPUPowerManagement.kext. So far no reboots! I keep my fingers crossed!!! Thanks a lot!

Sometimes my hackintosh suddenly becomes kinda sluggish/stuttering. Sound dropping. And than a reboot. I had this several times before with El Capitan/Sierra and now with High Sierra. I cant reproduce this. This is totally random. I am totally lost how to debug or solve this. Does anyone know...

Kids, don't try this at home. Without backup I went full thug life mode and updated it through the App Store. Everything still working. Intel p600 Pike custom patch still working! 10.12.2 > 10.12.3 succes!

Are you using the clover KextToPatch or the R3habMan/patch-nvme for the 600p?

Confirmed successful update from 10.12.1 to 10.12.2 through the AppStore As a M.2 NVME SDD Intel 600P user ( edited config.plist with KextToPatch) I just updated and I everything still works fine.

@Gigamaxx Do u have any idea why the RX 460 needs a darkboot with the help of the IGPU? Is that a Clover/Hackintosh issue? What if the RX 460 is put into a real MacPro? Does it just work out of the box?
