I only had English in the list. Another interesting item is that with Sierra Filemaker help would not work, sleep did not work no mater what the Darkwake setting was. Under El Capitain everything works fine.

I was an early adapter to Sierra, installing it in the second week after it was announced. I had no problems with it until the last two updates.

I reinstalled Sierra and did not import my old settings this time. Initially the mouse and trackpad pref pane worked. After a few restarts and configuring Clover (adding correct SN etc) both panes quit again. (both panes quit before I configured Clover) Something in my setup must be causing the...

Spoke too soon. Same problem again. I migrated my old settings, apps and docs. It must be that there is an incompatibility somewhere.

Problem fixed. I reformatted my HD and reinstalled Sierra. I hope it stays that way!

I don't have a Mouse.prefPreps file in my system library. Should I?

Thanks but unfortunately that didn't help. I am going to do a clean install.

Now both the trackpad and mouse pref panes quit unexpectedly. I guess I have to do a reinstall of Sierra.
