    10.8.2 TRIM not working

This worked for me. Thanks. Any idea why the trim in Multibeast isn't working with 10.8.2. I believe 10.7.5 has the same issue.

    OS X 10.8.2 Update

Worked perfectly except I lost Trim and Audio but it seems like shut down and restart take longer than before. Mountain Lion takes much longer to boot up than Lion anyway. Is there any way to speed it up? Overall this is the most stable Hackintosh to date. Maximus IV Extreme-Z/i7-2600K/Vertex...

Official Tested and Confirmed DSDT Graphics Edits

Do I have to be using a motherboard with a DSDT or is it possible to just inject this for my video card. How can I accomplish it?

Success with Ivy CPU and GA-Z77-DS3H

In my /S/L/E I found the 4 kexts above but also found GeForceGLDriver.bundle, GeForceVADriver.bundle, GeForceGA.plugin and GeForce.kext. I deleted all of them and when I rebooted I had to use GraphicsEnabler=Yes to have video. Any idea why I had those files in S/L/E and you didn't?

Can not get to the installation screen (UniBeast)

I had the same problem and solved it by using GraphicsEnabler=Yes. After installing the current CUDA drivers I was able to boot normally in ML

Cannot reach installation screen ,apple logo -> black screen -> restart

try booting with GraphicsEnabler=Yes. It worked for me. Then install the latest CUDA drivers and you should be able to boot normally.

    black screen after install

Chimera and no still no video even with -v GraphicsEnabler=No. I do get Video with GraphicsEnabler=Yes. I then installed the latest CUDA drivers and I'm able to boot normally but when on startup my screen flickers a few times before I get to the desktop.

    black screen after install

With an ASRock Z68 and a GTX460 or GTX560, I was having a similar problem but my screen went off just as the installation was starting. I tried -x -v PCIRootUID=1 but still no video. I was able to install ML successfully using an HD6770, rebooted and installed Chimera, restarted and booted...

    i7 3930K LGA 2011 Processor

I'm running Lion 10.7.4 on a P9X79 Deluxe @4.65GHz with 32GB RAM and a GTX460. Everything is working except for having no audio and sometimes when I come back to the desktop my screen shows snow. Is it possible I have extra video drivers loaded that I should remove? Also, every time I start up...

    i7 3930K LGA 2011 Processor

After playing with the x79 for a few weeks, I decided to sell it and go back to my 2600K. With both CPUs running at 4.8GHz, the difference in performance between the two was minimal. I'm waiting for Ivy for my next upgrade.

    i7 3930K LGA 2011 Processor

I am running at 4.8Ghz. 120x40 I'm surprised Leopard is running as good as it is with all the chipset hardware being unidentified. Actually, I was quite surprised it booted at all. In Windows, I'm seeing 10-20% improvement over the 2600k I was running previously.

I just upgraded from a 2600k to a 3930k on a P9X79 Deluxe and booted into my previous installation of 10.6.8 where I'm making this post from :) The realtek ethernet is working but not the intel. Boot into Windows XP

Yes, I'm booting with Chimera. I dont have a system reserved partition but like I said, Windows 7 boots up just fine. I installed XP with no other drives in the system so it doesn't depend on the Win 7 bootloader. It's when I choose the drive that I have Windows XP installed on that I'm having...

    Boot into Windows XP

Windows 7 boots with no problem but when I choose the partition that Windows XP is installed on from the bootloader I get a boot.ini error. When I choose the drive directly from the bios as the 1st boot drive, Windows XP boots up with no problems. How can I fix this?
