Am I going to have to reinstall??

All I did was reboot, now it hangs and the apple screen , I ran verbose, and it says the appleRTC kext is the problem

I restarted and now I'm getting a hang at the apple screen Ran verbose and it looks like the appleRTC.kext is the problem, I can't seem to find a way around it, any help would be appreciated

Im trying to upgrade from 10.7.0 to 10.7.3 , i cloned my SSD to a HDD as i always do, booted up my HDD, deleted sleepenabler kext (forgot to run a repair with MB), installed combo update 10.7.3, rebooted got a kernel panic, figured i would boot back up on my SSD, but it didn't work, its hanging...

I'll probably test my power supply and if that good, get a motherboard

No luck, it wants a boot device On power up the mobo screen comes up then a black that says "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"

Yeah iboot never get to far from my desk No luck with it

So I restarted my system a few days ago and after I get past the motherboard info screen I get a black screen with a cursor in the top left corner, and that's it Restarted and tried to access my bios, no dice Restarted and tried to access boot priority, this worked and I can get to the apple...

so i moved my rig to a new home a few days ago, the other thing that has changed is the monitor anyway when i get home from work I've been finding that after waking the display my pointer has disappeared, everything still functions and i can move the mouse around but the pointer is not visible...

Here are the steps i took to get lion fully working with this mobo (PSA - if you don't have a spare drive to clone with i highly recommend one) 1 - Start from 10.6.8 (i updated from 10.6.6 to 10.6.8 with the combo update with no issues) - http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/07/ ... -lion.html...

Also an update, lion seems to have fixed my issue with this

you are both right, i deleted the sleep enabler kext, ran system utilities, finished the install, running lion with all system go, thanks for the help

followed the steps, try to boot "installer" partition and the comes the kernel panic any help would be great

my external drive is randomly unmounting on 2.0, i thought it was the drive, now im not sure

try to get more if you can, this was definatly my problem, try googling "can't partition mac drive"or something, maybe it will tell you exactly how much you need
