    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

I am embarrassed to realize that I missed your question. So sorry! As you might have read in my updates I have stopped my Hackintosh activities for now. However, the WX7100 was (and still is) absolutely flawless for me. Low fan noise, enough power and in relation to my Hackintosh journey...

    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

Update 49 (the end): Sadly after many wonderful and adventurous years with this awesome machine I am going to sell it now. :'( There's exactly one reason for that: I could get my hands on a 2019 Mac Pro (which is a bit less powerful on single core, but gives me the freedom of spending more time...

    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

Unfortunately I don't have access to my hackintosh atm. I'll upload it asap.

    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

Never had this problem. My machine is also overclocked. Sorry, no explanation. I outline what I did in conjunction with overclocking in my build description under "Update 39 (Overclocking to 4.5 GHz)". Maybe this helps.

I am not sure, but I think in my case the Thunderbolt 3 audio interface (Universal Audio Apollo 8) interrupts the sleep. I never really investigated this as I always shut down the computer when I am not using it anyways.

    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

Sorry, I missed your comment. :( The only good thing I can say about this GPU is that I NEVER ever hear the fans go up. But I also don't perform all too GPU heavy stuff on my machine. Overall it’s a great card.

    macOS 10.14.5 Update

I updated as well, see steps below. So far everything seems to be normal. However, I also have the graphic glitches that some others are reporting during boot. I am using a Radeon Pro WX 7100. checked boot volume with fsck_apfs -n -l -x /dev/rdisk1s1 before updating corrected some issues with...

    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

I think in that case I am afraid that I will not be able to help you. I once tried to make two GTX950s work in my Hackintosh and had similar issues. After weeks of trying to overcome them, I gave up and switched to a more powerful single GPU setup. See the corresponding thread here...

    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

I'm happy to help, if I can. So, you have both cards installed at once or did you replace the 580 with the 7100? Let me ask you this first: Have you enabled the internal GPU in the BIOS? I know from other cases with AMD cards that there were some cases of black screens when the internal GPU...

    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

Hey iLikeHackintosh. I agree. What I would advice, if at all, is to overclock in small increments, with thoroughly testing of the entire system and close observation of component temperatures under long term heavy load. In my experience, successful overclocking is closely connected to how well...

    macOS 10.14.2 Update

    1. checked boot volume with fsck_apfs -n -l -x /dev/rdisk1s1 before updating 2. updated Clover to 4784 via Clover Configurator 3. updated system to 10.14.2 18C54 via System Preferences > Software Update All seems to be fine so far. :)

    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

Hey Hahn Let me say this first: I always try to go as clean as possible with my Clover settings. I have no Acpi patches and also no Kernel and Kext Patches in my setup. Because of this I also have only little to no experience with most of the patches out there. Therefore I think it makes no...

"About This Mac" shows wrong Processor speed even with "Cpu > Frequency MHz" set correctly in Clover

Hi Handzo85 Yes, that's what everybody says. :) However, I would love to understand what's actually going on here. The value in "Cpu" > "Frequency MHz" in Clover seems to be somehow translated in the "About This Mac" dialogue (but not accurately). Not a big deal, but I thought someone would...

"About This Mac" shows wrong Processor speed even with "Cpu > Frequency MHz" set correctly in Clover

I overclocked my Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K Hackintosh the simple way, via Gigabyte's "CPU Upgrade" option in the BIOS. The system seems to run smoothly so far and performs notably better (much higher Geekbench result for instance). Also, the clock of 4.5 GHz is correctly represented in Intel's...

    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

I just updated the files that are on my profile page with the ones I currently use. So, yes, you can take them and put them in /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/.

    [SUCCESS] Z170X-UD5 TH, i7-6700K, AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100, 64GB DDR4

Hey Hahn, sure. My BIOS settings are on my build page. I always keep them up to date. However, I only keep track of the things that I changed after resetting with "Load Optimized Defaults". - BIOS version: F21 - Smart Fan 5 = Silent (all fans) - BIOS > Fast Boot = Disabled - BIOS > Full Screen...
