External mouse, keyboard etc. keeps working.
Problem Reporting files will be attached when it happens again.
Until then any suggestion is worth to try.
I read that thread so many times already. Asked just to be sure about it. Almost every Broadcom wi-fi card seller says "It doesn't support HP" etc. But know I understand that it is because of the whitelist. Thanks.
Finally. It's working after that change on SSDT-IGPU.aml file. I didn't make a display override yet. Just tried 0x5916 to 0x591b0000 and it's working. Thank you so much for your help and interest. System seems stable and everything that should be working is working.
Well. I just find out that my notebook not sleep that well when I boot from USB. (Didn't apply any those you were saying yet, so the problem reporting files when boot from usb still same) It wakes well yes but it sleeps only for a second. It waking itself. Should I still apply what you were...
Sleep Problem: I put my notebook to sleep. Then I press the power button to wake. The notebook wakes up. Screen turns on but there is only a black screen appears. I know that screen is turned on because I can change the brightness level with function keys. But nothing shows on the screen except...
Update: Restarted my notebook. Battery works, Sound works, Touchpad works. Brightness doesn't work. I will do the updates in the Updates to the patch repositories under that guide.
OK. I followed the guide again and installed macOS. Here is the thing I noticed. I did post installation part. But didn't restart my notebook yet. And sleep works well. But of course since I didn't restart nothing works like sound, brightness, battery etc. I'm gonna restart the notebook and...
Since my keyboard wasn't working and we know that this thread:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-black-screen-after-upgrade-to-high-sierra.237050/
didn't work, I reinstall macOS completely following the guide again. And after that my brightness controls wasn't working. So I applied this...
I already solved that. Now I’m experiencing something strange. I open macOs, keyboard and touchpad works normally. After few minutes they don’t work anymore. It’s like something disables built-in things. (Sleep issue still here even though I applied everything on that thread.
Update: I applied everything in post #45 but nothing changed. I know that you experienced same notebook and installed successfully. So there must be a right way to do it I guess. There is something appeared on activity monitor named photoanalysisd and it uses %137 of cpu. My fan gone crazy.
In FixEDID, I choose the EDID.bin file which is created by Darwindumper. Then I make it. Opening the DisplayProductID with Xcode but there is no value under IO Display EDID.
It comes up like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN"...
I think you're talking about this thread which is linked under that thread you just linked. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-black-screen-after-upgrade-to-high-sierra.237050/
But I'm not sure which ones of your posts in that thread I should apply..
OK. This solved the issue with the options under that sliders. Now I've all of the options. But the wake problem still there. What should I do?
Update: I just realized that one of the sliders is missing. (Screen Sleep Slider)
