You have to use "busratio=20 -x"at boot. If "20" doesn't work for you, do a search for the correct busratio for you i5. TonyMac's iBoot install guide will work if you give it a chance.

I have the exact same Samsung. I got Snow Leopard to install using Iboot Nvidia and an original Snow Leopard disk by using busratio=18. 19 and 20 will also work. After installing I was able to reboot using iboot and Snow Leopard fired up on the Samsung. After I reboot though Chameleon won't boot...

I am using i5-430m and busratio=17 didn't work for me. 18, 19, and 20 will work.
