There is only one M.2 Slot on this board. (Or i can't find the second ^^) The SM951 is running well as storage with my 850 EVO as boot-drive. But i would prefer the SM951 as boot-drive.

I've got a SM951 installed in my setup, the speed is 2x -> 3x faster than a Samsung 850 EVO (500MB/s). So, the speed is great and price isn't that high.

Did you try MultiBeast 8.2.2? 8.2.1 had some issues.

I don't know how you get the SM951 working as a boot-drive. The installation is working well, but booting of the SM951 is impossible. Setup: SM951 on a GA-Z170X-UD5 TH with a i7 6700k.
