    Apple Music Won't Stream Songs

Maybe try signing out of iCloud and Apple Music, restarting the computer, and then logging back in. That’s all I can think of

    Apple Music Won't Stream Songs

Did you have any Bluetooth or Airport kexts? There should be none with the bcm94360ng.

    Apple Music Won't Stream Songs

Swapping to the macOS native WiFi/Bluetooth card above solved my problems.

The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

I recently upgraded my system to Monterey 12.3. OpenCore 0.7.9. I started with a clean install of 11.2.3, mapped my USB ports, and then I did a direct upgrade to 12.3 via the App Store. In Monterey, I had to make the adjustments for Bluetooth discussed in the OpenCore install guide. I...

    Apple Music Won't Stream Songs

I swapped out the DW1560 (M.2 BCM94352Z) with a M.2 BCM94360NG. I got it for $39 on Amazon. It's natively supported by Mac OS. So, I removed the four kexts that were required for the DW1560 on Monterey: AirportBrcmFixup BrcmFirmwareData BrcmPatchRAM3 BlueToolFixup OC Snapshot to match kext...

    Apple Music Won't Stream Songs

I did some more testing. The skipping songs only happens when using a bluetooth device and Apple Music. Youtube and other sources of sound work fine.

    Apple Music Won't Stream Songs

I think I'm having a similar issue. I upgraded from 11.2.3 to 12.3. In Apple Music when using bluetooth, any songs that are not downloaded/local just skip. Sometimes there will be intermittent audio that skips. If it's downloaded/local, I can listen to it. Strange: If I use wired headphones...

Long 15 Second "Pause" During Boot

I turned Trim on. I don't think I ever had it enabled. I'm still getting the 15 sec delay starting about 15 seconds into the boot. I disabled these kexts to see if they were potentially causing the delay: AirportBrcmFixup BrcmBluetoothInjector BrcmFirmwareData BrcmPatchRAM3 Nope. 15 sec...

Long 15 Second "Pause" During Boot

No Trim. Config.plist has it off, too (ThirdPartyDrives = NO).

Long 15 Second "Pause" During Boot

Updated my EFI folder with new SSDT's generated by SSDTTime. My SSDT-EC only has one entry vice the 30+ of the generic one. Similar scenario for the SSDT-PLUG. I added the SSDT-HPET and required config.plist patches. No change in the Long Boot Pause. Still 15 seconds where it sits with a...

Long 15 Second "Pause" During Boot

@Edhawk, looking at my SSDT-EC generated by SSDTTime and your SSDT-EC-USBX, I can see you added the highlighted section for USB. Why is that added? And why add it to the EC? Also, looking at the generic SSDT-EC from the OpenCore Install Guide... there's a HUGE difference. Only one entry for...

Long 15 Second "Pause" During Boot

I don't see where the SSDT-EC-USBX.aml comes from in SSDTTime. I only get SSDT-EC.aml when running the various options in SSDTTime.

Long 15 Second "Pause" During Boot

I've been using the generic SSDT's since switching over to OpenCore. I'll look at using SSDTTime tonight. I'll update my progress this weekend.

Long 15 Second "Pause" During Boot

@hannibal1969, I don't think my boot delay is associated with the SSD Trim incompatibility issue people have been experiencing with Monterey and certain NVMe SSDs. I'm still using Big Sur on this build and I'm using a Samsung EVO Sata SSD. I don't see any Trim related messages in the verbose log.

Long 15 Second "Pause" During Boot

@Edhawk, as you point out, I only have two SSDT’s. Your build has eight. Are all eight of yours generated using SSDTTime? And what to they do? Edhawk ski4evr SSDT-EC-USBX SSDT-EC SSDT-EHCX_OFF SSDT-PLUG SSDT-Fix-USB-Shutdown SSDT-HPET SSDT-PLUG SSDT-SBUS-MCHC SSDT-XOSI...

    General NVMe Drive Problems (Fatal)

With the Samsung 980 Pro 1TB NVMe likely having the TRIM incompatibility in MacOS, I took the opportunity to shift it over to a Windows 10 boot drive. I ordered a WD Black SN750 1TB NVMe and it should be here today. I’ll use it as the MacOS boot drive. Initially for Big Sur, and then for...

    General NVMe Drive Problems (Fatal)

I recently purchased a Samsung 980 Pro NVMe 1TB not knowing about this issue. Sounds like I shouldn’t use it as a boot device for Big Sur or Monterey. Would this trim issue exist if I use it as a storage drive? Would APFS or HFS+ formatting make a difference? -Edit- I’m thinking the problem...

    Stork's Thunderball II Build: ASUS ProArt Z490 Creator (Thunderbolt 3) - i5-10400 - RX 580

I took this great advice and created a successful OC build for my GA-Z170n Gaming 5 / RX 580. Learning OC and using their very well written guide was... easy. Just have patience and focus on the details. Grabbing a pre-built EFI folder and config.plist file from other builds in the forums can...

    BitterMelon's "Chip" build: GA-Z77N-WIFI - i5-3570K - HD 6870

How's Big Sur running with that motherboard and CPU? I have a Gigabyte GA-Z77N-wifi with intel HD 4000 (no graphics card) that I recently upgraded to Catalina using Clover. I don't use it that often. I recall it being kind of slow.
