I've said it here before, don't use CPUFriend + CPUFriendDataProvider.kext provided here on iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS, it has injected frequency vectors from iMacPro1,1. You don't need to use the frequency vectors from iMacPro1,1 on iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS, it doesn't make any sense.

For Sidecar you need Intel iGPU or T2 chip... so on Alder Lake its no go.

If you switching SMBIOS, the results can vary, because every SMBIOS uses different frequency vectors, BUT if you switching SMBIOS and always overwrite frequency vectors with vectors, for example, from iMacPro1,1 you will have similar results.

It looks like @CaseySJ used "CPUFriendDataProvider.kext with iMacPro1,1 frequency vectors" in these test, so it should be same as on MacPro7,1 with same kext...

If you are using CPUFriend in tests with the kext I dropped here, you should mention, that it use iMacPro1,1, frequency vectors. Something like "CPUFriend enabled + CPUFriendDataProvider.kext with iMacPro1,1 frequency vectors".

So, if you are using iMacPro1,1, don't use CPUFriend + CPUFriendDataProvider.kext provided here, its created for MacPro7,1. Whats in "AVX Disable"? This is how enable AVX512 looks like on Asus BIOS.

Yes, true, but all real world apps test that I see on Windows have better results with all P cores on/all E cores off and HT enabled than all P cores on/all E cores on and HT disabled. Edit: And there is another one problem for using E cores... you need OS scheduler to make decisions about...

Thanks. So until we figure out a way to get all the cores up (P+E) with HT, this is the best setup for now. Its 6 P-cores and HT for 12600K ;)
