    How old are the Hackintoshers?

I'm quite young too, I was 14 when I signed up and I'm still 14 . Still haven't built my hackintosh however because I only have incompatible laptops, but I'm interested in building a hackintosh desktop. My uncle has a hackintosh, and I thought it was cool. I thought it was impossible to...

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

Would it be smart to buy the 380 when you're going through all that trouble? You are quite tech savvy. But if I had all those problems I would not know how to fix it. I hope it will be better when El Capitan is released :/, the 380 is a really good card.

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

Nice to know, I'm pretty sure the PowerColor version should work too if the 380 is supported OOB.

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

Does that mean the r9 380 is supported? And if it's supported will the PowerColor version work too?

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

Doesn't the 380 have Antigua Pro chipset? Or are Antigua Pro and Tonga just the same?

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

You guys really helped me with this, I really hope apple supports the r9 380 soon. It's a great GPU, when the r9 380 is supported and when skylake is out I will try to make a hackintosh. But for now, I'll just sit and wait until someone confirms the 380 works. Thanks for your help anyway :).

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

What if the gpu has the same port layout as Apple's card, would the ports work?

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

So, if I understand this right. Does this mean apple makes their own version of gpu's like asus, gigabyte and msi?

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

Just a little question, will it make any difference what manufacturer made the GPU, the guy in the thread is using a Sapphire Nitro r9 380, but i'm interested in a PowerColor PCs r9 380. If he gets his gpu working, can I get mine working the same way?

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know, I guess I'll just wait until somebody actually gets it working. Maybe there will be better support for it in El Capitan. Could you post the link of the netkas forum thread please.

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

Ok, that's what I read on another thread too: However, I don't know if the R9 285 is a supported card. I couldn't find any info about it, does someone else know this? And if it's supported, will it work OOB?

    AMD's Radeon 370 - 380 - 390(X)

AMD released those GPU's recently but are these GPU's supported by OS X? I'm interested in the PowerColor R9 380 but I have not the resources to make a hackintosh right now, so has any of you guys tested these one of these new GPU's? I know AMD GPU's are usually not working OOB but the new...
