Would it be smart to buy the 380 when you're going through all that trouble? You are quite tech savvy. But if I had all those problems I would not know how to fix it. I hope it will be better when El Capitan is released :/, the 380 is a really good card.

Doesn't the 380 have Antigua Pro chipset? Or are Antigua Pro and Tonga just the same?

You guys really helped me with this, I really hope apple supports the r9 380 soon. It's a great GPU, when the r9 380 is supported and when skylake is out I will try to make a hackintosh. But for now, I'll just sit and wait until someone confirms the 380 works. Thanks for your help anyway :).

What if the gpu has the same port layout as Apple's card, would the ports work?

Just a little question, will it make any difference what manufacturer made the GPU, the guy in the thread is using a Sapphire Nitro r9 380, but i'm interested in a PowerColor PCs r9 380. If he gets his gpu working, can I get mine working the same way?

AMD released those GPU's recently but are these GPU's supported by OS X? I'm interested in the PowerColor R9 380 but I have not the resources to make a hackintosh right now, so has any of you guys tested these one of these new GPU's? I know AMD GPU's are usually not working OOB but the new...
