DMAR Table Mapping for Thunderbolt Antelope ORION

Interesting because there is definitely an option to create your DMAR table from SSDTTime and, if I’m not mistaken, you feed the script with the DSDT no? Maybe I am completely mistaken too and you just have to run the script and it does all by itself? Been a while I’ve used it.

DMAR Table Mapping for Thunderbolt Antelope ORION

You could also use SSDTTime ( https://github.com/corpnewt/SSDTTime ) to extract the DMAR table from your DSDT

    macOS 13.6.6 Update

I know, you succeeded but I had to download the full Ventura 13.6.6 Package. Not a big deal and it worked, now on 13.6.6 but strange indeed!

    macOS 13.6.6 Update

Latest Ventura updates didn’t show for me neither in System Preferences, strange! Maybe related to our SMBIOS, iMacPro1,1?

[Guide] Dell XPS 8930 Big Sur 11.4 (upgraded from Catalina 10.15.7), RX580/UHD630, OpenCore

I've bought an external Pioneer DVD/BR/M-Disc writer on my side.

[Guide] Dell XPS 8930 Big Sur 11.4 (upgraded from Catalina 10.15.7), RX580/UHD630, OpenCore

Still solid as a rock (finally) after Ventura 13.6.5 except a short glitch after first reboot: volume-hash-mismatch error! Didn’t occurred since and, to be sure, updated OpenCore to 0.9.9 from 0.8.8 for good measure.

Using a Presonus Quantum Thunderbolt 2 Audio Interface...HELP

Sorry, I don’t have any other idea… :( **Did you added back the SSDT-Thunderbolt, SSDT- DTGP and SSDT-DMAR?

Using a Presonus Quantum Thunderbolt 2 Audio Interface...HELP

Are you using some TB2 to TB3 adapter of some sort? I would guess yes but maybe you could try a TB3 dock to connect the Quantum? Or try an older Universal Control driver? I know someone (here or elsewhere) that downgraded the Presonus driver to an older version and, even if it wasn’t supposed to...

[Guide] Dell XPS 8930 Big Sur 11.4 (upgraded from Catalina 10.15.7), RX580/UHD630, OpenCore

Well, the XPS 8930 will end its life with Ventura! Why? 1- iPhoto doesn't work anymore with the help of Retroactive (unfortunately abandonware it seems :(). My other computers are still using iPhoto Library so I like to keep one on this computer too even if I have a Photos Library. Working...

    macOS 14.3.1 Update

A bit of work: - I had to download the full installer from Ventura as the AppStore said that my machine didn’t supported the update. Probably because of the WiFi root patches from OCLP; - Reverted the root patches and unchecked all WiFi/BT kexts in my EFI; - Update was long because it was...

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

Done and working, with the same OC 0.9.7 EFI. Now, waiting for 14.4!

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

I had to download the full package via my Ventura boot as the download wasn’t allowed from Sonoma (probably because it’s root patched). Next, I’ve reverted the root patches and unchecked all WiFi/BT related kexts from my EFI and I am now in the install process (full install on top so it’s...

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

Now that 14.3.1 is out, anyone have it working without breaking Broadcom WiFi root patch?

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

Maybe OT but anyways! I do not have a Fenvi T919 but a PCIe Asus PCE-AC-68 (BCM4360). The problem I have is I can’t use OCLP 1.3.0. as I don’t have the « modern WiFi patch » offered in root patches. Instead, I have to edit sys_patch_detect.py inside the master source folder of OCLP, download...

[Guide] Dell XPS 8930 Big Sur 11.4 (upgraded from Catalina 10.15.7), RX580/UHD630, OpenCore

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to build the app (the « standard » app you can find on GitHub doesn’t detect the « modern WiFi patch »). Thus, I need to run the executable Python script from within the GitHub downloaded source folder. My Wifi card is a PCIe Asus PCE-AC-68 (Broadcom 4360) and not...

[Guide] Dell XPS 8930 Big Sur 11.4 (upgraded from Catalina 10.15.7), RX580/UHD630, OpenCore

Yeah, without this kext (version 1.4.0), it won't boot... It was a hassle to make OCLP.command works and I was unable to build the application anyway... I also had to put -brcmfxbeta in the boot args as airportbrcmfixup wasn't working without it??? So far, testing it on my external disk but I...

Making an AMD RX580 2048SP Graphics Card Work on Hackintosh

Yes, did it this weekend :( Just for fun (?), tried to flash a newer BIOS for my Sapphire Pulse RX 580 and ended with a really garbled screen but I was able to almost blindly reflash the stock BIOS. Lesson: if ain’t broken, don’t fix it! @yyymmm , you started a VBIOS flashing service? :)...
