I would say easier, followed your instructions to the letter, didn't work so left it and installed the cm6206, rebooted a few times with that after applying the enabler changed a setting wrong with clover so usb boot, fixed that, reboot again, played some game which crashed when i tried to quit...

i didn't bother taking the header connector off the other end of the extension, just shoved the pins from the infrared connector in it as deep as it could go and left it at that. works a treat

this was going to be my question too, I had the no sound after sleep problem with 6.3/realtek ALC 892 fixed it by using the sound drivers from 6.1.0 though I'd rather have one working Multibeast on my boot disk. no problems with sleep so not sure which version your using.
