I was wondering if you could tell me what driver you are running and where you found it? I can't find any Mac driver for the 2720SGL. I have read that it works "natively" but don't know how you would control the card without some sort of driver/ application.
Thanks!
Hey guys,
I had a perfectly working Hackintosh until yesterday when it wouldn't even reach the boot loader. After a power on boot, it fails when the first "-" hyphen begins to rotate. The hyphen locks well before it completes its first circle.
Completely at a loss. I have tried booting...
A little bit more info, when I try to use iBoot or my unibeast usb disc the hyphen moves about a quarter turn before stopping and freezing. On my actual boot drive it doesn't move at all just a horizontal hyphen. This has become pretty frustrating.
Any help?

A friend of mine just gave me a GTX260 and I was wondering if I can use it for hardware acceleration in Premiere Pro. I have a AMD 6870 currently driving two monitors (27" and 24") and don't really need the GTX260 to actually run a monitor.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
I changed out the ethernet driver, which seemed to help. But after over a day, it KP'd again. So now I am stumped again. I also had to install the correct SSDT to get my speed back up to where it was. And also installed the ML usb 3.0 driver which gave me usb 3.0 again.
Any new ideas for...
A little more information, I just ran a memtest on the RAM and it checked out okay. I also just ran geekbench in 64bit mode and only got ~6400, I usually get over 13,000.
Had a stable hackintosh until around the time I updated to 10.7.5, not sure if that is related. Now after anywhere from 2-12 hours I get a kernel panic. I uploaded of a panic I got yesterday after booting in via Verbose mode. I read on a thread that it could be ethernet related, but I am not...
My hackintosh works great, but the one problem I am having is every once in a while the computer gets very slow and crashes. The mouse will stop moving for 30 seconds to a minute then soon after it freezes altogether. Shutting off using the physical power button works and it boots up it is fine...
Okay so I once again tried to reinstall (I could not find the kexts to delete in system/library/extensions) and after rebooting going to system prefs and trying to click network froze the computer.
Any ideas as to why?
I have tried installing both, and have even done fresh installs to install both. I am fairly sure I have tried to install both kexts on this install, but can't seem to find Lnx2mac's kext in system/library/extentions
Can you elaborate slightly as to its whereabouts. I looked in IOnetworkfamily...
So I have tried both the Lynx kext and Realtek Kext neither worked... Any suggestions?
I am close to running to frys afterwork and just buying a PCI gigabit card.
First, does anyone know what to do about the built in? And if now, which PCI card should i get? I have seen people post about the...
Yes I have an ethernet cable plugged into it!
I have tried installing both of the kexts (using multibeast) that are supposed to work. Neither of them make an ethernet card show up in System Profiler.
That is why I am pretty much at the point where I am willing to spend twenty bucks to just buy...
I am having the same problem, and am close to just going out and buying a pci network card. Did you have to install a kext manually to get the GA311 to work?
And/Or have you gotten your built in NIC to work?
Thanks!
Okay fixed the booting thing (for now at least!) I installed bridgehelper and that seemed to do the trick. Now I just need to get the ethernet working!
So anyone have a suggestion about that?
I have tried both of those network kexts.
As for boot drive I am using a Vertex 3 SSD. So I don't think that is the problem, and even after using the stand alone chimera installer I still can't boot into Snow Leopard with out iBoot... Thanks for the suggestions, any others?
