Hello until Mavericks came out the sleep function worked fine, pc went in sleep very fastly. But from 10.9 version something has changed, when i click "Stop" the screen become black fastly but pc remain powered for 10-15 seconds about before shutting down. Any idea?

I have this problem... when my ext hdd is power on chimera doesn't start, it stop at / (slash) before hd choose. So i have to power off the hdd and reboot the system. Why?? This don't happen with usb flash drive. Thanks
