I have the Thunderbolt TB16 dock.
If I do a cold boot or restart with the dock connected the screen on my external UHD monitor turns pink.
But if I have the laptop already running and then connecting the TB16 it just works.
If I just could get Netflix to work in safari or chrome I would be set...

I use a ThunderboltEX II DUAL with my Z97 Gryphon and it works good

(uninstall/reinstall). Then you are back to business as usual.
I just updated to bios version 1202 since it supposedly now support booting from GUID drives and disable MSR CFG lock.

Just finished installing windows 8.1 on a spare drive and the driver for the thunderbolt card.
Then I removed the spare drive and booted Yosemite and my thunderbolt ethernet adapter was found.
So now I'm happy :)
BTW the card works with all Z97/87 Asus boards with thunderbolt headers...
Just installed Asus Thunderbolt 2 card.
It shows up in bios but does not work under OSX.
Apparently I have to initialize the firmware on the
card after installing the card in a Windows environment first.
Such a hassle :)
