10.8.5 Update -> Revert back to 10.8.4 until USB drivers are fixed. Yeah I managed to get that installed, it worked after I rebooted so I guess i'm lucky lol.. did you use the kextutility to clean up the cache after you installed? - - - Updated - - - Thanks RehabMan you're an angel :)

Perhaps an update to the generic USB 3.0 drivers or a method to get it working again ..
