    General Z87N Wifi Mobo troubleshooting

Just a quick update for anyone that may have been viewing this thread. Updating to the newly released Mulitbeast 6.4.0 and then updated to the latest AppleHDA (in the case of the Z87N wifi, that would be the ALC892) was all that was needed to fix this problem. My audio now returns whenever I...

    General Z87N Wifi Mobo troubleshooting

Hi all, My hackintosh uses the Gigabyte mini-ITX Z87N WIFI motherboard. Its a great little board and have managed to get some great things from it and iron out a lot of the bugs and problems that you sometimes get with a hackintosh. However, there are just a few minor things left that I would...

What are the chances of the Z87n-Wifi Mobo accepting 32gb of RAM later down the line?

Hi guys, Pretty self explanatory title. Obviously, with the z87n-wifi being a mini-ITX board at the moment with only 2 RAM slots available, it can only support 16gb of RAM. However, what are the chances of it being able to accept 32gb of RAM once compatible 16gb dimms are made readily available...

First time mackintosh BIOS boot problems

Solved it! I've just taken my build round a friends and hooked it up to there monitor. The BIOS comes straight up on there monitor when you press a key at boot. I'm also going to see if i can use a different monitor and see if that helps, though my HDTV does seem...

First time mackintosh BIOS boot problems

I know that no-one seems to be looking at the post right now, but in case anyone does, here is a link to someone I have found who had the exact same problem as me. However, it seems as though it never got answered. Just thought it might shed some more light onto what the problem may be...

First time mackintosh BIOS boot problems

Right, I've tried the CMOS battery removal method and that doesn't seem to have done anything. I'm at a loss. Whenever I press any of the suggested boot keys it seems to ignore them and just boot up straight into mavericks. If there is anyone who can supply any help then please do. I was...

First time mackintosh BIOS boot problems

I've already tried f12 as well and to no avail. I have since managed to install mavericks successfully, but still not able to boot the bios. I am only currently connected to a tv with HDMI, not a proper monitor. Do you think it might be something to do with that? I might try the battery thing in...
